We have been asked to help with a stray cat who has been involved in a road traffic accident ( it is presumed ) The likelihood of the front leg having to be amputated is very high as there is very significant damage to his poor little leg \ud83d\ude3f<\/p>\r\n

He is undoctered and is not microchipped so this will all be done under the same anaesthetic tomorrow at The Peoples Vet.<\/p>\r\n

This poor little chap wasn’t expecting to spend his Christmas like this \ud83d\ude3f We will let you know how he gets on and give you regular updates \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\r\n

WOW – WOW – WOW – We have had the most INCREDIBLE DAY today at our Xmas Fayre.<\/p>\r\n

We raised a MASSIVE \u00a31,868.50 !!!!!! As you know we share all the proceeds from the RAFFLE – CAKES and REFRESHMENTS with Rosemary Jelley at Nine Lives IW after we had given Rosemary this we had \u00a31,449.50 for Feline Welfare \ud83d\udc08\u200d\u2b1b\ud83d\udc08\u200d\u2b1b<\/p>\r\n

We are SO SO grateful to Liz and Doug who work tirelessly throughout the year collecting\/receiving items to sell to raise much needed funds for our less fortunate feline friends here on the Island. Through the Summer they attend Car Boot Sales, again to raise money. For many months running up to the Christmas Fayre their work is continuous collecting for the stalls – Raffle Prizes – Tombola Prizes – asking for cake donations for our Refreshments & Cake Stall the list is endless – to see their home for weeks before the Fayre, well it’s taken over with boxes\/bags\/containers ALL TO HELP LESS FORTUNATE CATS\/KITTENS on our beautiful Island – they are AMAZING and have been Fund Raising for us since 1992 \ud83d\udc3e\ud83d\udc3e
Vanessa sells clothes we have donated throughout the year on EBay, she raises far more than we could get at a Fayre and she is doing this CONTINOUSLY which is AMAZING \u2764\ufe0f Vanessa has also been raising funds for us for many, many years and attending Car Boot Sales for us

Liz and her wonderful team in the kitchen serving Refreshments and Cakes turn out every year for us and they all do a WONDERFUL job as you all know; and always with a smile xx<\/p>\r\n

We had lots and lots of people today who have adopted cats\/kittens from us recently and over the years and it is always lovely to hear all about them when they come alone to the Fayre. It is heartwarming to meet up with our ‘Adoptive Parents’ and to receive their ongoing support \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\r\n

LOVE and PURRS from our very special furry people as this is ALL for them \ud83d\udc3e\ud83d\udc3e<\/p>\r\n
