Kind Facebook Donors help Rosie

We were asked to help ‘Rosie’s’ owner when this little girl returned home with a serious injury. ‘Rosie’ was taken to Pet Doctors as an emergency and a fracture of the femur was very quickly diagnosed.

Because the cost of ‘Rosie’s’ surgery and care far exceeded her owner’s financial ability to meet this cost, we were asked if we were able to help in any way possible.

We started an Appeal for ‘Rosie’ on Facebook and the response has been AMAZING. As a result of the COVID-19 restrictions in place, we have been unable to fundraise since the beginning of the Pandemic, which has caused no end of problems trying to make ends meet and to help people when asked. As a result of this Fund Raiser, we have managed to cover the vast majority of the cost to bring ‘Rosie’ back to full health, which has reduced the amount her owner now has to pay dramatically.

‘Rosie’ is now at home after her surgery and is on complete cage rest for 6-8 weeks. She is currently in one of our accident cages for her recovery/rehabilitation.

We are so happy to have been able to help both ‘Rosie’ and her owner, and we look forward to following her recovery and seeing her get her life back on track.
